The NFL doubleheader on CBS Sunday ran past its scheduled end time by 20 minutes. I would expect that NextEnd would have told later scheduled recordings(somehow?) on CBS to extend record times by 20 minutes. This did not happen. "Elementary" was scheduled to begin at 10:30PM and did begin recording at that time but the end time was not extended. I am having difficulty understanding the logs.

I've attached the logs for 11/6/16 hoping the answer is in there. Did I get something wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Not you, it looks like a DST problem. This line is an hour off

The run today adjusted the monitor, I will need to fix the code to not use the default DST check for midnight. Sorry about that

Welcome news, Martin. Another bug bites the dust...

What is the significance of the the two time windows in the NextEnd-Monitor logs? Are these the windows within which recordings may need to be extended?

Yes, with the additional check for sports active at the start of the window. If you notice though the mode your using checks just recordings you previously scheduled nothing new. There is another option --jit that will wait until after that starting time to see if anything did get scheduled (if there is a possibility for monitoring). I don't enable this by default since it does take more management on killing NextEnd before updates etc.

Hi.

I'm still having a problem figuring out what I'm doing wrong.

Again, this past Sunday, the 13th, the NFL games pushed past there scheduled end time so that NCIS:LA start time was moved, by CBS, to 8:24pm. With Elementary starting two hours later at 10:00pm, I would expect NextEnd to set some signal that the Elementary recording time should be lengthened 24 minutes. The recording was not lengthened.

Do the logs explain why this happened?

Hi, Martin.

Another failure on Thursday night(the 17th) after the NFL game on NBC. The logs show the game being monitored but no action was taken to extend The Tonight Show scheduled later that night for 12:05am Friday. Does crossing into the next day present a problem? It looks like a "stop" file has a minus number in it. Is this normal? Being negative suggests that the show finished early and not late. Is that "LivePvrData.Data.Net" data source reliable?

Do you have some ideas?

Thanks...

Same problem sorry, I didn't check late night but the sports I have monitored worked. I just updated the remote server and added extra logging hopefully that will help get to the bottom of this.

Sorry,
