[I have 2 shows scheduled on 11-15-2016 at 8PM and 9PM (NCIS and Bull) which are marked in the guide as new but are not scheduled to record.
I have them marked in recurring recordings as new shows but they are not showing up in the Pending recordings.

attached are the logs.

I emptied the EPG and re-downloaded using schedules direct. First time I have had this issue.

You don't have the logs for the scheduling, run nextpvr -recurring and upload them again. Most likely you deleted them at one time.

Looking at your guide maybe you can offer some advise to this user http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post510209 on his antenna

NCIS recurring is set for new episodes only, but this particular episode is a repeat.

Bull episode was recently deleted. You can run "nextpvr.exe -removehistory" if you want to forget about stuff that has already been deleted.

NCIS is recently deleted on the 15th. You don't have match exact one so both shows are considered NCIS

Martin

"You don't have match exact one so both shows are considered NCIS" Up until this week they have been working fine. It has been recoding all 3 shows from one entry.

The issue is there are 3 NCIS shows. and if you look at the first image they due show new and yet are not scheduled to record. I checked 3 differently listings and they do show the TV shows are New, but are not in my pending recordings. I delete NCIS and then added it, still does not show up. S

So what is the best remedy?

Also left a note for the other Orlando user.

the nextpvr.exe -removehistory seem to clear up the problem. It now shows in red! Could have been an issue with the elections. They showed old episodes instead of the new ones, who knows why?

Thanks Barry

I only pointed NCIS out because you said 2 shows.

You have to clear the deleted recording with nextpvr -removehistory and then rerun nextpvr -recurring or wait until tonight.

I saw this on my server as well. The problem is NOT with NextPVR or Schedules Direct. CBS had those "New" episodes listed to be aired the week of The World Series baseball games and they apparently didn't think the series would go to game 7. To prevent losing eyeballs (and advertising dollars!) to the 7th game, CBS decided to show an old episode of Law and Order:SVU in place of NCIS and they showed a rerun of an earlier Bull episode in place of the "New" episode. But since the EPG didn't get updated before they made the change, NextPVR faithfully recorded the channel at the appointed times and NextPVR recorded the episode ID's in its database. Since they're already in the database, NextPVR won't record them as part of a recurring recording. I "fixed" it by selecting each show in the EPG and selecting Quick Record. The shows are now scheduled to record.

Does "-remove history" let you delete a single show/episode, or does it remove ALL history for ALL shows from the database?

It removes all the history of deleted shows. You shouldn't really be using this in normal use though. If you find a wrong show gets recorded because of a schedule change, use the 'forget' button, which applies to only a single recording.

Thanks sub, that is what I thought that command would do. Seems it should be saved for extreme emergency use only. Wink
