Adding channels on first time set up

I just downloaded NextPVR the other day and I'm having a problem. I don't know how to create a list of channels to add. This page isn't clear, at all, for a new user as to how and what to do for the set up process to work correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a first step you need to head to the Settings->Devices screen, and double click on your capture device. From there, you either scan (digital tuner), or you add/import (analog composite/svideo/component/HDMI capture device). After you've added your channels in your device settings, they'll show up in the Settings->Channels screen.
