NPVR crash when scan for channels

Hello,

I did install npvr and in the middle of the instalation, I get error "Microsoft register server has stopped working." Problem details are:

and so on all Register Filters.

When i hit close and installation is complete, I cannot scan for channels, NPVR crashes and get this error:

I was tried probably everything but with no luck (Turn off DEP, disable firewall, antivirus, install npvr on fresh windows etc...)

It's a Windows7, 32bit.

I have on another computer npvr and it works great.

Is this scanning on an analog device?

If you don't scan, but instead manually add a test channel, does it work?

Yes, its analog device.
I have tried to import channels also, but it doesn't work.
But, when i click on live tv, I get error "unable to communicate with recording service."
In windows services, npvr recording service stop working.

In the log, i'm getting error "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host".

Just to mention, machine is socketA, processor 2500GHz, 2GB RAM.
Also I have installed npvr on XP machine, with same configuration, processor also socketA, doesn't work. Same case.
In the newer machine, npvr works great.
I don't know if it matters...

I'm not really sure what to suggest. It looks like something is behaving differently on this 'Philips Cap713x Video Capture' device, leading to the crash. It's hard to tell why exactly from the logs though.

If you create a C:\temp directory, and repeat the problem, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp created? If so, supply the file and I'll take a look.

I create C:\temp folder, and don't get crash.mdmp created...
I move that philips card to another computer with diferent configuration (Socket AM2, x2 4400, 3GB RAM), but same version of windows (from same disc), and npvr working like a charm.
On two old computers, npvr doesn't work (It's shame to throw away, I thought to use one of them only to watch TV online).
I installed old version npvr (2.3.6) and during installation all went fine.
When I manually register filters, I get an error "The module "NPVRCCDump.ax" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent.DLL files. The specified module could not be found."

But, it's working now! Live tv, scan channels are working. What is the problem than with new version (above v.3...) of npvr and old computers (maybe some requirements)?

What version of Windows is running on these machines?

On one machine is Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3, on the other Windows 7 Ultimate. Now the card is in the machine with Windows 7 Ultimate (Processor SocketA, 2500+, 2GB RAM).
