I am using a network Cablecard Tuner which has three (3) Tuners (Silicondust Prime). I was able to configure the device and load the channels to all of the tuners from Scheduledirect. My issue is in channels, I have to point each of the channels to Schedulesdirect. This can be a long process if you have over three hundred (300>) stations to configure. I thought there was away to do a bulk load, but I am not able to get it to work. Does that mean I have to schedule each channel individually ?

I am able to access the NEWA portal and confiure content w/o issues. Issue is in the playback, there is no way to advance the video. If I download the source from one (1) of my servers and run it via vlc, all is ppossible. Is there away to do this via the portal ?
Thanks,

This video shows you how to set it NextPVR with Schedules Direct:

There is a bug in the current release that can cause 'bulk map' to crash. You can find an updated NShared.dll that fixes that here:

I have already updated the .dll file previously. Schedules direct has been populated. Other issue, unable to advance video in NEWA. Input channel# instead of scrolling all of the channels

What exactly isn't working if you try the same steps shown in that video?

With NEWA, you have the ability to watch or download what was recorded. If I attempt to watch any content via the NEWA, I have the following issues:
1. No abilty to scroll in the movie (similar to fast forward/rewind).
2. Videos always stop and I would have to restart from the beginning.

If I go to the server that hosts the .ts file for the video, it can play just fine via vlc. I can scroll back and forth w/o any issues. I am using this program as a replacement for the Silicondust Homerun DVR program which has lots of issues. Also it is not as full featured as NextPVR. I hope there is or will be a fix for thhe issues I am facing presently.

In TV Guide, it would be nice to just type in the channel# then to scroll to hundreds of channels to get what you want. I guess I could also eliminate the channels I do not want under the channel session.
Thx...

The modern web app is still very new, and not very full featured yet. This is stuff we're still working. In the meantime you can get the functionality you describe in the desktop app.

Were can I find the desktop app version of NextPVR, I am still new to this program. I tried many other apps, until I found this program which actually behaves well with the HD Prime CC Tuner. I understand that the NEWA is still new. I guess it will take some time to have it full featured. I am still on the trial of schedulesdirect as such, trying to iron out most of the issues before subscribing. Also, I would want to avoid any issues with schedulesdirect if it expires than I re-new. I would want to avoid configuring the channels (if I could). Thx...

You've already installed it. It's the "NextPVR" shortcut, ie, the same app you already ran to scan your device for channels etc.

Thanks for your help. I thought there was a lite version, something were you can just view using the TV guide. I will install the app as I do before on the ret of my w/s's until the NEWA is perfected. Once again, I have to say, NextPVR is working is working as it should. As I stated earlier, the newer SD App from Silicondust is not feature rich as this program. The TV Guide is awesome. I was use to the same in WMC until it was removed in Win10. The SD product is using their own version of the guide via a slice. It's worth paying for the TV Guide, much more intuitive.

NextPVR's UI is fairly lite anyway, but there is also a thin client call 'nlite', which you can download from http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...-December) - just download, extract to a directory and run. It'll give you the same full UI as NextPVR, but in a thin client (with the real work being down in the server).
