Which update? Creator or May's patch Tuesday.
You can try uninstalling the Update. Go to update history and click on Uninstall updates. (this is for Win 10)

It would perhaps be more helpful (before rolling back the windows update) if the OP could reproduce the problem and then uploads all the logs for review. Otherwise, we might not get to the bottom on the reason for the problem.

I had some problems with NextPVR after the Creators Update. I ran the NPVR installer again and everything was fixed. I think some permissions and/or firewall rules were reset. So a reinstall is worth a try.

Typically after a big Windows update a reinstall may be required to get the web server and other interfaces for Kodi, Emby, NMT working correctly. For other things especially freezing and stuttering it almost always will be codec related so logs showing the problem will help.

Right, I didn't expect it would which is why logs are required.

Those are good. Since you are another user that doesn't have Direct3D support are you using an old video card? If so try changing the video renderer from EVR. If not what do you see following the instructions here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post514550
Also using LAV for mpeg2 video can be problematic with NextPVR stick with ffdshow or hopefully MS DTV-DVD Video. Not

From EVR to what? Video card is AMD Radeon HD 5450. Is that Old?
