Hello all!
I've been using this wonderful program for years now (back when it was gbpvr even Smile ) and love it! Thanks everyone for all you do!

So I've been limping along on upgrades to OS over these years and have been on my 32-bit operating system. Sadly my tried and true PCI Hauppauge PVR150's won't work on 64-bit Sad
I'm tired of being limited on my ram by 32-bit and have a nice solid state with Win 10 64-bit on it ready to go, I just need tuners that will work!

I'm totally analog and this isn't going to change in the next number of years, so I'm still on the old-tech side.
I'm looking to record 2 shows at once. I'd love to have one card that had 2 tuners and be good to go if that was possible. I'd prefer to stick with internal vs USB as I've seen a lot of comments regarding the USBs failing after a year or two or 3 but the cards being solid. (Any comments to this claim?)

I have:
2 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots
2 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots
2 x PCI slots

I see the 1600 cards note that they are dual, but it's unclear if one of the tuners is only for digital and the other is only for analog. Does anyone know the answer here?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone in the US that has some analog items that are 64-bit compatible that they're looking to sell?

Thanks everyone!

That's the problem with discontinued products. According to this web page:http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...vr150.html

they do have support for Win 7 64 bit if ram is 4GB or less.

Maybe WinTV-HVR-1955. Support Win 10.

Just one for analog. Did you check the Hauppauge web site? The HVR 2255 seems to do what you want. Are you sill getting analog cable channels via cable? If not and you have to rent another STB and blast from a second tuner you might be better off with a cable card tuner.

You might take a look @ the Silicon Dust products. If you are on cable, and your company supports cable cards, the HDHomeRun Prime (3 tuners) is a good choice. If you are using OTA (antenna), the HDHomerun Connect (2 tuners) would work.

Thanks everyone!

I have a Hauppauge PVR USB2 that works with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I was actually going to list it on ebay tonight for $20USD.
Or if you'd prefer an internal card I also have a HVR-1600 that I was planning on listing also(cleaning house), for the same price.
I was using an old 32 bit desktop for home media center but it's slow and doesn't stream very well so i retasked a laptop that was just taking up space. Now i'm parting out the old system so If you need a 750gb 3.5 inch hard drive i have one of those too. Wink But to answer you question about the 1600 cards the card i have has 2 tuners, so record or watch 2 shows at the same time. I had my cable hooked up to the analog tuner, and my antenna hooked up to the digital tuner to catch the local OTA signals in HD. I need to point out thought that I was unable to test the HVR-1600 card on a 64 bit system so i can't verify that it will work, but I know for certain it worked with Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. If you are interested let me know and we'll work it out.
Tuners:
Hauppauge HVR-950
Hauppauge Dual HD Model #1595
OS:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I have had 2 USB Hauppauge HVR-950Q USB devices. The first one lasted maybe 2 yrs the second one less than a year so I can validate your concern with the USB devices.

My current tuner is a Silicon Dust HD HomeRun Extend (older version) which has 2 tuners. The nice thing about the Silicon Dust tuners is they are stand alone devices and connect to your LAN so any PC on the network can watch and record TV.

Good luck with your search!

Thank you all for your notes!! (Apologies on my delay, I mixed up my settings and didn't receive emails on post responses!)

@scJohn - very cool on the 64-bit if less than 4GB of ram! The bigger reason I'm looking to get over to x64 is to utilize more ram though Smile The WinTV-HVR-1955 is USB which I was hoping to avoid, but thank you!!

@mvallevand - tyvm on just 1 for analog answer-very helpful! Thank you for the suggestion as well! I did poke around the website in my price range (hoping to keep under $100)...so the HVR 2255 is sadly too costly Sad It is indeed straight up coax cable from their pole into my house into the tuner Smile So yup, analog cable channels via cable...old school, but cheap and has what I want for channels!

@JavaWiz - Thank you for your suggestions, unfortunately no cable cards and not doing OTA but I appreciate your comments!

@default_user8 - Thank you! Hopefully I'm not too late, I'll PM you!

@VCR58 - It's good to have more confirmation on what I'd been reading, thank you for your post!!
