Hello! I am trying to get TV Guide listings working in NextPVR (as well as Kodi) from my HDHomeRun Prime. I got other help online to use zap2xml from tvguide.com. It creates the XML file, and the "channels" in NextPVR are set to XMLTV, with the XML file generated.

However, it still does not populate. How can I get it to?

When you go to the Settings->Channels screen, and you double click a channel to see the 'Channel Details' screen, is "EPG Source" set to XMLTV, and is the correct xmltv channel selected? If yes, but you still have no listings, have you hit the "Update EPG" button since mapping your channels to XMLTV? If yes, but still no listings - I'm guessing you've got no current listings in your .xml file - zip and attach the file and we'll check it for you.

Huh, I notice that they're set to XMLTV, but do not have anything under "mapped channel" or whatever that bottom one is. I suppose that is why? if so, is there a fast way to getting them all mapped rather than 1-by-1?

Yep, that'll be why.

If the channel names exactly match the names in the xmltv (and you've mapped at least one channel manually, so it knows where you xmltv file is), then you can hit the 'Bulk Map' button, set a channel's EPG Source to XMLTV and manually do a mapping - then it'll ask you if you want it to have a go at auto mapping the rest of the channels. It'll do the channel names that match. You'll have to manually map any channels where the names don't match.

Remember, when you've updated your mappings, you'll need to hit the 'Update EPG' button to pull in the listings from those new mappings.
