Help with Kodi

Hi again everyone

My quad tuner has arrived I have successfully installed the card and its drivers in a win 7 machine,

I have scanned for channels and received 157 for all for tuners in the card,

Live tv fully working on this machine and EPG data working too..

Going downstairs to my machine running Kodi I can't get anything to work no connection to next pvr no channels nothing all that it stated when I try to enable the NEXTPVR app from within Kodi is "Addon couldn't be loaded. An unknown error has occurred"

Opening live to section of Kodi just says "PVR Manager Starting up 0%" nothing happens

If you like the NextPVR interface, you might try using the X-NEWA interface in Kodi. Many of us use it as our primary way to access NextPVR from Kodi.

Do you mean kodis skin or the PVR client


I can't access any to through Kodi the PVR client reports error I have now tried on laptop with fresh install of Kodi , an amdroid box , and my normal Kodi all of them report the same error

I would prefer not to change my Kodi skin if that's what you mean iv spent a lot of time changing it

Neither, actually. I mean the X-NEWA add-on. See this post for more info.

No problem unless you are using Kodi 18. However you do need to make sure that you have entered the right IP and your firewall is open for remote connections, those are the typical first time problems. Next step would be to follow normal support rules upload debug Kodi logs and NextPVR logs.

Using version 17.3 have also tried on v17.4

I have also used the correct ip local address 192.168.0.## of the machine running next PVR with the tuner working

I have added port 8866 udp&tcp in&out on both machines

I have not changed any ports in the router

I have also used network scanning tools to see what ports are in use on my NEXTPVR and 8866 doesent show

I can also screenshot all this information if needed

The logs you posted show that the NextPVR server is on IP address 5.220.124.239 not 192.168.0.##.

The IP address of the machine running is 192.168.0.## I do not understand how it's 5.220 how do you change it
