Cant refer EPG (TV GUIDE) LINK

Hello,
hope someone can help me,
while set up iptv in the import channel there is option to add also url address to xml file that include the tv guide.
when i am entering the following link
http://epgserver.com/epg/proepg.xml
i get error message (see attached pictures)
what the problem and why url not working, when i enter to it get the xml file.

I've moved this thread because the 'TVListings' addon section is really about an alternative TV Guide type screen, rather than about the listings themselves.

On that screenshot, it looks like you've still got the default 'www.somewhere.com' in the box at the top of the 'Import' screen. That is just a placeholder value, which you need to replace with the URL for your IPTV provider.

i change the url in the box at the top, i just not include it in the screenshot cause the iptv provider not give to access in more then on device. the error message i attached appear after adding the url of the channels list and the tv guide xml that appear in the screen shot.
that why i not understand the error message.

Hmm, it's definitely to do with that top box. Looking at the code, I can't see any opportunity for it to use anything other than what you see in that top text box.

Does it do this every time you try? If so, I might need to add some logging and get you to supply logs for me.

In this case were you trying to go back in and add the EPG, to already existing IPTV channels? or was this a first attempt at creating the channel and setting their EPG?

hi, i tried to do all process of adding new channels from the start.
now i got different error message (see attached pic).
is there max limit of the size of the xml.

There is no max size, but that error message indicates there is a problem with the xmltv file being served up. Specifically, on line 629770. It sounds like one of the xml elements is not closed correctly (or they have some data with invalid character which isn't being escaped correctly).

First i want to thanks for quick answers ,
there something that not clear with flow in the application.
when you want to enter new channels list there is option to enter also url for the xmltv.
after inserting the 2 links (one to channels list and for for xmltv) there is waiting time for upload to complete and then you get all the list of the imported channels.
in this list you see that the EPG column is empty (for every channel there is not value in epg column) even if the import complete without any exceptions.
why EPG dont mapped to the channels automatically if the upload complete without exceptions?
Another issue is if you want to add manually for each channel EPG you dont get option to give url, you need to refer to xml in your local computer (That means that you need to update the file every day manually)
I tried to add the list of channels and xmltv by giving the url's in other programs and it work fine and automatically without need to go every channel and give the same location of xml in the local computer (every time you start the program it update the list of channels and xmltv automatically).

1. why in import process when giving url of the channels lists and url xmltv when the upload process end without exceptions all EPG colums are empties (its important to mentioned that the xml file is ok cause if i set the epg manually for specific channel from the local file in the computer the mapping is done and it working fine) .
2. Is there away to update xml file from url to local computer in automatic way in fix Schedule (like every 24 hours).

It was valid a year ago when he posted it. There is no a longer file at that URL though.
