ITV1 HD Scanning

Hi,

I've recently moved across from ArgusTV to NextPVR (front-end with Kodi).

I've managed to scan most channels (Freesat in the UK - Astra 2E / Astra 2F / Astra 2G - 28.2E). However, it's not finding ITV London HD.

I've had a read through online and looks like they changed to 3/4 FEC so details as follows (given I'm picking up from London):

Astra 2G, Frequency 11097
Polarisation: Vertical
Mode: DVB-S2, 8PSK
Symbol Rate: 23000 (23.0 Mbaud)
FEC: 3/4
Channel/Region Service ID
ITV London HD 21000

I wonder if this is because there isn't space for me to change FEC on the software. Is there any way of changing to 3/4 FEC through another route?

If you look in c:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-S\0282.ini there is a list of the transponders that will be scanned.
if you replaced the 11097 line with this 11097,V,23000,34,S2,8PSK than re-scan, it should pick it up. Sadly, unlike a Sky box most PVR's can't sort themselves out when a transponder is tweaked.

if you're feeling adventurous, the attached zip file has an up to date ini file for the lot which could replace the installed one, (changes happen too often fo keep up with at times)

So turns out I might have replied too soon!!

It found all the channels on the scan (thank you!). However, when I pull in the ITV1 HD channel (I'm using Freesat so 11068,V,23000,34,S2, 8PSK) it's not letting me show the programme - it comes up tuner not available.

All the other channels I'm using work well - it's just this one I can't get to work.

Any thoughts?

Really need your logs to see where it is going wrong (with a note of the time you tried to make it easier to find).
Wonder what tuner(s) you have? I guess "not available" is if teh tuner is already in use or possibly it is only DVB-S and not DVB-S2 but the you would have other channel problems.
Can you receive any other channels on that transponder?
Just looking at kingofsat transponder list, there seems to be two ITV HD channels on that transponder - sky digital and freesat sky digital. I wonder if you found more than 1 ITV HD channel when scanning and if another one may be the answer. ISTR a number of them last time I scanned and loads of CH 4 ones!

7:28 is the time to be looking for (at the end of the log).

No other channel problems i.e. BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD are all working.

I found more than one ITV HD channels (over a number of transponders) - I've tried all but have the same problem on all (it's freesat I'm linking to rather than sky digital).

I'm also uploading the picture showing the channel details from NextPVR.

It's probably something really simple I'm missing!!
