Closed Captioning request

Being hearing impaired, I rely on closed captioning a lot. And it works great. But activating it could be easier.

Every time I change a channel or start watching a recorded show I have to re-enable closed captioning. It would be great if the closed caption option could be pre-set to be either on or off all the time. Maybe something in the setups?

Or a hot key that would toggle the state of closed captioning?

I have the same issue as "Rich A". I'm new to NextPVR, just recently coming from Win7+MCE which I used for 8 years. I already evaluated Plex, JRiver but they don't support Closed Caption.
Downloaded NetPVR last week (4.0.5) and so far so good, I think is a keeper! Very good program!

There are some difference between MCE LiveTV and NextPVR LiveTV, one of them is I can't enable CC with the remote (or at least it's not explained in the Wiki) and then I have to bring the keyboard to toggle it (Ctrl-X) but it's not persistent, I have to enable it every time I launch NextPVR or go to LiveTV.

I thought I could force it playing with some setting in LAVSplitter (force subtitle stream) but I can't access it from NextPVR (I can only access LAV Audio & Video).

Anyway, thanks for considering it.
