Unhandled exception error - 4.0.4

This morning I upgraded to 4.0.4 from 3.9.2. Now, when going into the SETTINGS->DEVICES I get an "unhandled exception" error. See attached screen shot.

I seem to be able to hit CONTINUE for it to move on without any other issues, and I have no issues with playing TV/recording. I have also attached the log.

i have a similar error on occasion after watching something. I've been waiting for it to happen again to post my logs.

This particular error can occur if you have two instance of NextPVR running, and each has tried to go to the Settings->Devices screen. Check the task list, and kill any extra instances of nextpvr.exe you have running.

I looked at this, and there was no second instance of NextPVR running. I closed out of the one that was open, leaving only the NTRAY as the only related item running. I also tried rebooting and the same error occurs when I open NextPVR and goto the options/devices. It is repeatable every time.

Ok, if it's not that, then you have some software blocking network access - so check for any firewall/antivirus/netnanny type software that could be trying to control network access. Basically NextPVR is trying to send a network broadcast to discover network tuners, but it's receiving an error tell it that it doesn't have permission to use the network.

OK, will start looking. Nothing changed other than upgrading to NextPVR 4.0.4, but it is NOT a show stopper at all since I can still use everything fine. I have disabled the firewall (Win 10 Pro) completely, to no effect. I am looking at anti-virus now, but dont see any messages from it yet showing it is preventing anything, but will keep tweaking.

The message is pretty clear there - something is forbidding access to the network socket, so there is definitely something getting in the way.
