Yes, I see how I have confused things!
So in the m3u file containing all my IPTV channels, you are right that some of the URLs are to mp4 files, not .ts files.
From what Sub is saying, in this scenario NextPVR asks ffmpeg to convert the stream to a .ts format (creating a temp file for this purpose) and will then try to play the file using the decoders specified in "Settings"? My configuration here, is:
Video Decoders
- MPEG2 Video = Cyberlinks Video Decoder (PDVD13)
- H.264 Video = Cyberlinks Video Decoder (PDVD13)
- HEVC = LAV Decoder
Audio Decoders
- All set to LAV Audio Decoder
As I mentioned in my 1st post, I installed the SAF632 codec pack which is how the Cyberlinks and LAV decoders got installed.
Would it help if I captured the temp .ts file created by ffmpeg and sent that through?
