NextPvr steals in use Tuner for scheduled recordings

I have the Hauppauge Quad tuner (model 1609) and have noticed repeatedly that if I'm viewing a channel on one of my Kodi boxes and have 2 or more available channels available, NextPVR steals the channel being used for viewing for a scheduled recording. Why does this happen? Is there anything I can do to prevent this problem from occurring?

Most of your logs don't go back to the 1st when you had your last recording send the logs the next time it happens. Also note that a tuner not available message in Kodi doesn't really mean what it says.

Please check the logs for a time stamp between 2017-11-02 19:00 to 2017-11-02 23:00
That is the time range in which the problem occurred.

Nothing unusual happened there, Chicago Fire started on a new tuner so it didn't bump anything, and it looks like from Kodi channels were switched at about the same time but since you are missing the web log and Kodi.log for the problem time we don't see what happened in Kodi. You need to send those logs right away.

The new log zip file was created right after another event happened

I saved these log files within 5 minutes of the event happening.
Hope they will give you insight into the problem I experienced.

Take 3:

Last night, 11/13/17 I was tuned in to ch.10 using Kodi starting at 7:50 pm. At 7:59 pm a recording started with no interference. At 8:58 pm, 2 tuners out of 4 were in use (1 live tv the other recording a different channel). At 8:59 pm, my tuner on Kodi switched by itself to ch. 7 and froze because the tuner was stolen by the back-end server to make 2 recordings (One of the recording channels was ch. 7). At this point 3 tuners were in use out of 4(3 recordings and 1 unused). At 9:03 pm, one recording was finished so only 2 tuners were in use and 2 were idle.

I used the zip file generator in the NextPVR settings app to zip the files within 3 minutes so that I could capture the state of the NextPVR server was preserved.

The attached log files should reflect my narrative above.
