Yesterday and many other days over the past few months the recording service does not appear to start properly with windows. A reboot does the trick, but it is odd. I am thinking of doing a clean install, although my DVR PC is now almost 9 years old and I loath the idea of wiping it all to start again. Any help would be appreciated.
Two other issues, if I can find them in the logs I will start threads for each, is at times an error is thrown wile watching a recording and I have to restart the recording service or computer to fix it. Third, compskip will jump back to a previous point in a show usually in the last detected segment.
