Recently, I changed out my old Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800, which I had been using in a Vista 32bit HTPC system for a number of years successfully, for a new WinTV-quadHD. I got everything set up, used WinTV v8 to get the latest drivers and, having a little trouble, got it to work so that I could watch TV. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, NextPVR TV Guide decided not to update. I use the DVB/ATSC EPG which has worked fine for me, other than never auto updating. Presently I have it set for 4 AM and since the day I set it, it has never worked.

I have attached some logs which I hope will be helpful. I hope someone can help me as I really want to be able to watch one program and record another or maybe both

You'll probably need to delete the channels and rescan, or set the EPG to none then back to DVB/ATSC EPG. They'll still be associated with your 1800.

Thank you! Did both and TV Guide is up and running! Now if I could only get the auto update working. Also, is there any way to clear the recurring recordings? I have a number of duplicates and would like to get rid of them and start all over again.

If you entirely want to start over, with empty database, no channels or recordings etc, you can just delete the stop the recording service, delete the npvr.db3, restart the recording service, then rerun the app.

You mean the overnight update? If you post the nrecord.log, I'm happy to look what happened last night - it probably updated fine, but as pointed out in a zillion threads here, the US ATSC EPG is next to useless since it only transmits a few hours of listings, so by the time you wake up and look at the guide, those listings would have been past history. Pretty much everyone in the states uses a Schedules Direct account, which gives them multiple weeks of listings, season/episode numbering, artwork etc.
