Just curious as to why the stream below will play fairly well in VLC but is mostly unwatchable in NPVR. I added it to the IPTV tuner and selecdted H264 ts which is what the VLC codec paige said it was.

EDIT: ...SNIP...

I dropped my ACE subscription and am just playing around now (what can I say...I'm old, retired, and have a lot of time on my hands!)

I'm trying that URL and it's playing pretty nicely for me.

If you record, does it play back ok?

jd1940,

Just like you, I'm also an old retired guy who just dropped my ACE sub but would still like to play around with IPTV.
What streams are you working with?

I sent you a PM with links, hopefully. If the message doesn't provide them, let me know and I'll try something different.

Sub: "I'm trying that URL and it's playing pretty nicely for me."

I have three IPTV links now in NPVR. The .ts links look good for about thirty seconds and then start repeating. I know how to correct that in VLC (double clip loop button) but have no idea if that can be accomplished in NPVR. The third link is a m3u8 link which plays just as it should. Perhaps it's my codec. I'm using LAV in NPVR because I have no other choice. It has a lot of adjustments, but I have no idea what any of them do or if they would help.

I sent you another PM with a direct link you can paste into NPVR. I was trying to avoid having to do that.

Sub, do you know any way to solve the repeating problem in NPVR?

If you go into the IPTV device and use 'Add' instead of 'Import', and manually add the URL, with the type set to H.264 TS, does it make any difference? Normally an 'Import' is the equivalent of adding with the type 'Internet Source-IPTV', which causes the data to be streamed a slightly different way.
