Support for on demand streaming channels ?

My subscription IPTV includes on-demande channels (pre-recorded movie and TV series).

I have tried only briefly to Watch on-demand channels but that did not work (if I remember it crashed).

Is there support for this in NextPVR and if so how does it work ?

Try replacing your existing "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\Other\ffmpeg.exe" file with the updated version from http://nextpvr.com/ffmpeg.zip, then try again. Hopefully it'll get it going for you.

Did that and yes it now plays thanks ! I take the opportunity to request being able to move forward and backwards in the stream !

The OnDemand screen kind of works like a recording. It'll start download the of file, and allow you to skip backwards and forwards in the bit that has been downloaded. If you've got a decent internet connection, it'll usually only take a few minutes to download the entire file, and then you can skip anywhere. (if you move the mouse, you should see the timeline growing quickly, showing you how much has been downloaded)
