I have had a problem for a long time of getting an error message when I pressed the key to get the closed caption menu. Now the same show gives me an error message over the play/resume etc menu and you here the audio playing but no video have tried several decoders and renderers. No help.[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] The current show with the problem is "Law & Order.Special Victims Unit". This show does play fine with Windows Media Player. Attached is a JPG of the error message and logs zipped. This show did play fine with no captions before the latest update.

Can you copy that messages in the text box, and post it here? I can quite read enough of the message to know where the problem is happening. Need to see a little further down.

Here is a snip of the above error. I got everything except the end of a couple lines. If you need more let me know. Couldn't Figure out a easy way of doing this except to use a lot of Windows snips.

The full error text should be available in the Windows event viewer if sub needs it.

From memory... after you've clicked on Details to open the details window, if you Tab twice it should highlight all the text - ctrl-c will copy it to the clipboard, then you can paste it into notepad...

Can you see if this updated nextpvr.exe fixes the issue?

After replacing NextPVR.exe with the one you sent, the shows now play. It still has the problem with if you hit CTR X for closed captions, on certain shows, such as Law & Order Special victims Unit and the new "MacGyver", you get an error message, but that problem has been around for years. Thank you for your help.

Can you post the details of that error? I just tried reproducing it by renaming one of my shows "Law & Order Special victims Unit.ts", but that didn't seem to be enough to cause an issue.
