i have recently using the radio section in kodi to listen to radio that i get through a dvb-s card on my npvr computer, and whats rather annoying is every so often the sound will just drop out for a second or two then come back and work for maybe 10 min and it will happen again. its not just a specific station either. It is quite predictable for it to happen within the first minute of starting to listen to radio. as a test i listened to 10min through npvr on the computer with the tuner and it did not happen once so i think its a kodi thing. i included a log if someone could take a peek.

You are get a lot of blocked sockets

The messge itself doen't really indicate an error sinc the addon is handling the condition it just means the read is coming too fast for your network layer and there is lots of waiting. If I had to guess I'd say that the Kodi audio buffer is too large for the bursty packets coming in the radio transport streams. Maybe try playing the station in x-newa web client to see if it is http handling or PVR handling causing the problem, assuming web client sends radio as audio,.

it does seem more to work better through x-newa. but most of the radio stations don't have any epg so i cant test those ones. any suggestions for how to make the pvr side work better?

You need to see if you can get any help on the Kodi forums. As I posted x-newa web client should allow you to play channels with no EPG data. If not send logs
