Direct play, something not quite right

This is an old thread I know but it's the only one I could find which describes my issue.
I installed the android app (v 1.7.200822) on 2 devices yesterday, a OnePlus 6T phone and Xiaomi MiPad tablet. I have Nextpvr 5.1.0 running on a fairly weak Celeron processor which maxes out transcoding anything.
Using Direct Play I get great playback on both devices but if I resume a recording or skip forward during playback the timeline indicates the position I want to be at but the stream starts again from the beginning.

Has anyone else experienced this issue recently?

This behaviour was caused by differences in the server between v4 and v5.

I've just been looking at it in the last couple of days, and have an updated Android app which resolves it. I've got a couple of other minor fixes I'm doing, then in intending to get a new release out in the next few days.
