Since I purchased my new PC, I've found when I try to record after coming out of hibernation, none of the DVB-T channels will record unless I do a full restart of the PC. This doesn't affect IPTV which continues to work normally.

According to the status window, the channel records.

I'll replicate the error tomorrow morning UK time and submit a log. I suspect it's something to do with the driver for the tv stick which doesn't respond after hibernation.

Yeah, that is likely the case. The logs might tell us something more though.

I've done another hibernation test.

That log looked like the device actively in use when it was put into hibernation. Does the same thing happen if the device was just doing nothing prior to be put into hibernation?

Yes, the NTray logo stays red throughout if I record using IPTV. It used to also do that with DVB-T before the previous update. Goes back to normal if I reboot.

The NTray issue has happened to me on two PC's now.

Incidentally, I pulled out the USB tuner and put it back in and the DVB channels work again without a reboot.

What I was asking about had nothing to do with IPTV. In that log you were actively in the middle of recording on your 'AVStream TS Capture' device when you forced the machine into hibernation. What I was asking is - if the device had not been recording, is it then able to record after resuming from hibernation? ie, does the problem only happen when you for the device into hibernation while the device is still active?

Either way, this is looking like a bug in the driver for your 'AVStream TS Capture' device, and likely the only fix is finding a newer version of the driver for this device.

IPTV Channels will record after hibernation.

Yeah, definitely just sounding like a bug in your 'AVStream TS Capture' driver. NextPVR just treats all these BDA devices the same, and others work fine for this.

You might find your device works better with standby instead of hibernation.

I would put it into sleep, but the fan keeps going. Alas why I'm using hibernate.

Looks like I'll have to buy a Hauppauge in the near future.

Resolved by buying a Hauppauge dual tuner device and just downloading the Windows drivers for it instead of the supplied software.
