If you are running 0.9.11 you can click on the GBPVR icon in your system tray and update there.

You know, when I do it manually, it seems to take a really, really long time. Is this normal? By really, really long time, I mean >20 min. I usually either walk away and let it finish, or just stop it.

Do you have zap2it or xmltv? What I mean is, do you do the actual downloading of the data when the epg updates, or is that already done, and you only update the epg? If you have a ton of channels and a slow connection, I guess you could get pretty long update times. I have about 10 channels, and that takes my o2grabber about 1-2 minutes to download and process into xmltv format. Then it takes 10-20 seconds for gbpvr to "build" the epg from my xmltv file. I have a nehemia 10000, and a 10 mbit connection.
