Live TV screen goes blank at start-up

I am working with Windows 10 computer, with hdhomerun connect duo tuner, nextpvr through kodi. I tried live tv through kodi and the screen went blank and could not start Live OTA Tv channels. I back tracked and tried Live TV through NextPVR and the same thing happened when I started Live TV, the screen went blank/black. I did try Live TV through the HDHomerun program, and live tv did play, so I believe my issues appears to be in the setup of npvr. All of these settings were working a week ago when I was working with my computer. Attached the log file:

Please go to NextPVR --> Settings --> About and press the button to zip all of the logs. Attach the zip to a post telling the time that you attempted Live TV so that we know where to look in the logs. Thanks.

If you try recording, do you get a file with stuff in it?

I don't think this is related to your live tv issue, but it looks like you can't record because of permissions on your recording directory:

Actually - looks like your live tv files go to the same directory, so it will be the cause of your live tv issues too.

Thank you. I think that might make some sense as recently I set up mysql for kodi, and setting up networked movie/tv show/recorded files, I didn't even think about changing the path to for recording tv, I think anyway.

I think that was the ticket, I went into misc and recordings and changed the files to the network files and everything works. Thank you again.

Recording to network shares can often lead to other types of permission issues, but give it a go and make sure it's working fine. Otherwise we can give more advice.
