nextpvr optical sound

Think i finally have things working but need some help with nextpvr now with optical sound. sound works in wintv8 but when i select optical sound in nextpvr and click ok it seems like it doesn't save and go's back to default audio. any idea's why this is happening?

Try with NextPVR --> Settings --> Decoders --> Audio Renderer set to "Default" ... If still not working please post logs in a post that tells us the time of an attempt when audio did not work so we know where to look in the logs ... To post logs ... go to NextPVR Settings --> About and click the Zip logs button and attach the zip file to your post. Thanks.
