NextEnd not extending sports event

That was the MLB game (I definitely did cancel that one early). I was recording an NFL game simultaneously, but I didn't cancel that one manually. Perhaps that confused NextEnd?

I don't see it running was it a unique game or a generic title with a SH Unique ID. NextEnd needs teams in the subtitle to search on.

I recorded a few more games today just to see if it worked. No luck. were MLB games, one featured the Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers, the other featured the Colorado Rockies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers. They were playoff games, but it looked like NextEnd detected them properly.

Since I had time, I have an additional one: Tonight's Monday Night Football. Purely providing logs in case they help.

There does seem to be a problem, I will have to check my timezone logic. For now I would increase the post padding to 3 minutes just to be sure.

I had to look at the logic on this and I see I disable NextEnd if you have sub's sports extending enabled.

A minimum of two minutes of post padding issue might still be required.

That must be it! I'm sure I left that option enabled without thinking, back when I tested if SD was working.

There's an MLB game this evening. I'll disable that NPVR option, and make sure I have a default 2 minute buffer, then give it a test run tonight.

Good news: Tonight's game extended perfectly. I'm going to record two more games tomorrow night, and hopefully all will be well.

Thanks again for all the help resolving this. It didn't occur to me that the built-in sports extending option might have been an issue.

When I coded this I wanted to avoid conflicts with sub's code also extending the same event but that assumed that SD was working. I never even tested it in real life so at least the logic is working better than my memory.
