Hi, I have a client / server setup. I've recently clean re-installed Windows 10 and NPVR(full-not nlite) with unlocked SAF 6.2.2 on a desktop PC I use as an occasional client, and have a problem with live TV.
The client will play back recordings successfully, but will not show live TV. If I attempt to 'watch' a channel the display window blanks with no audio. I can see that the server is tuning and the temp file in the server buffer directory grows.
I can watch live TV OK using PCH2 clients, and also get a picture/audio from NEWA and NLITE on the desktop PC, but unfortunately the latter clients (and the android client on my phone) won't give me the right audio stream (keep getting audio-described) so I'd like to get the full PC client operational. Any suggestions as to the likely problem and possible fixes?
Logs for a test with the client firewall turned off are attached for the server and the client.
The main server recording directory is on a NAS (using Samba) and the TV Buffer is a sub-directory of this. The client can access the NAS TV Recordings directory and buffer sub-directory OK (read/write).
Many thanks
Chris
