Schedule Listings won't open some channels

Hi

I've used NPVR for ever it seems and had no real problems. Just upgraded to the latest version and have what may or may not be a bug.

The EPG loads and updates fine but some channels will not open when dbl-clicked and asked to Watch, I just get a black window. (I'm using the inbuilt native viewer as always). If I type in another known working channel number while like that it crashes and has to be restarted.

If I load a known channel that always works (say 101) via the EPG then it is displayed correctly. If I then type in the channel number that didn't work above, it displays okay. Typing another channel in to that display will also load correctly.

I've attached a log (had to zip as too big and doesn't like .log files).

It starts from an NPVR restart. The problem with the black screen (C4+1, Ch 13) is at around 11:58:25-30 or so and then a while after it loads after typing in the channel no of 13. I didn't crash NPVR in this log but can if it's likely to log anything.

I've attached a log (had to zip as too big and doesn't like .log files).

Simply stated, NextPVR has two main components 1) the Server Service that runs continuously in the background and connects to the tuner device and captures the stream for recordings and for Live TV (the Server Service also creates a "sub-task" for each tuner) and 2) The app that you see on screen.

We need the logs for all of these ... Please recreate the problem ... Go to NextPVR Settings --> About and click the button to zip the logs ... Attach the zip to a post again telling us the time that the problem occurred so that we know where to look in the logs. Thanks.

If you create a c:\temp directory, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp file when this happens?

Just got an exception while changing channel by typing channel no. It carried on okay afterwards:

I see it's 32-bit? Is there a 64-bit version. A search says there might have been but not currently.

I don't see a relevant crash dump. Event log entry pasted in first post .

No there isn't. 32bit apps runs nicely on 64-bit versions of Windows, so never been any good reason to go through the extra effort of having both.
