I have reception for all the channels in the winter without any problems with my OTA antenna and then around the beginning of April my reception sucks. Certain channels goes in and out.

My antenna is about 35 feet from the ground, and about 8 feet above the roof on a pole connected to a chimney.

Anyone have any suggestions to fix this? Like I said, once summer is over there is zero problems and then when spring comes, certain stations have signal loss that comes and goes, no matter how I turn the antenna. Signal levels are great, they just fade in and out.

I'm posting this in the general discussion forum hoping someone here can give me some advice.

If you haven't broken it at least once, you're not doing it right.

How far away are you from the antennas? I'm thinking that you're pretty far because even with the antenna 35 feet up, it sounds like the signal is getting blocked by leaves on the trees. When the leaves drop, reception improves. So, a taller antenna mast or a signal amplifier may be required.

26 miles. It's happening only to the UHF stations.
We have an amp, also.
I have a channel master antenna, 80 mile range. (violet)

Just an update. My antenna balun connecter that connects to the antenna and then the coax into the house went bad. I got a new one and everything is great. My friend who works for Dish Tv, came out and fixed it and actually put a different balun on that would be better for my reception based on my physical location from the towers. He thinks the balun is the reason for my troubles all these years. It had got worse but now no downtime that we were used to at 5pm when the sun was towards the towers at its brightest. It had started in the morning with the sun rising at it's brightest in the east. Thanks HarryH3 for replying.
