I've hit the Archive function to move a few recordings I want to keep to a separate drive from the normal recording storage.

Obviously the programmes still appear in the recording Ready list but is there anything to indicate which recordings have been moved to Archive?

I ask because the NPVR programme seems to offer the Archive function even when a recording has already been moved to the archive. (which is confusing).

If there isn't a current indicator, could one be added for the future as I find it challenging to remember which recordings I've moved (without resorting to File Explorer to look)?

It's really just a "move" function, which moves a file between directories. There is no special meaning to a new directory.

Sorry, no - there is no indicator saying the recording has been moved. You can 'move' a recording multiple times if you want (which is why the function is still provided even though you've moved it once).

I did update the Files plugin a few years back and it gives a rough Video Library type of view with option to Archive files and also tag multiple files. The Archive function is a background function so the action is slower then the screen refresh which is a bet dsiconcerting.

You can also check in the Video Library without leaving NextPVR.

In the TV Recordings plug-in, it doesn't list the current location of the file as a potential target destination in the Archive menu. So, you can tell which ones have already been moved. Maybe you could add that as a wish list item to have the Recordings behave the same way.
