I have a few files in my Video folder that when I have tried to search for Metadata there are numerous options.
I have selected the one I thought was most probable, but then found it was the wrong one.
I have tried to select another but it keeps reverting to the first one I selected.
Is there anyway to Simply (onus on the simply) delete all traces of the metadata and any links to it from NPVR so that I can find and select the correct option??
Many thanks
Bob

The main files are in the data directory media/show/filename.* and these can be deleted.

Now I am confused..
I deleted the associated Files in media/show/filename.*
Re Started NPVR found the program where the old metadata still showed?
Searched for Metadata again, selected the correct item.
Restarted NPVR again but the old metadata still showed!!
When I checked in media/show/filename.* the associated picture and the contents of the .xml file were correct.
So I guess there must be another reference to the old metadata that overrides media/show/filename.*
There are references in npvr.db3 which I deleted but that did not do anything either (Although I do not know much about SQlite and only used notepad to find and delete the entries)
Need more help here, I'm confused.

Sorry I was focusing on recordings. For the Video Library there is also a thumbs folder which you can delete or if you want open it with explorer and an icon view you might be able to spot the bad art.

There is text in the thumbs folder (confusing perhaps).

Hi Martin
Well I found the the problem just had not looked in the obvious place it was right under my nose. (A bit of Brain Fade)
There was a movie.info file and a .jpg file in the Video folder itself.
Just delete the files in the thumbs folder and the shows folder plus the ones in the Video folder and its OK now.
Many thanks for you help.
Regards
Bob
