Is there a way to display the channel numbers down the side in nextpvr.exe, as it only shows the name.

Also, playing iptv channels in nextpvr.exe, the sound is, just bad, like noise is somehow added to it, but plays ok in localhost:8866. I think from memory it was OK in v4 and I have the same decoder settings as v4 (hopefully).

Yeah, sorry - I accidentally had the default just showing the name.

I'll add a setting for this in nextpvr.exe's setting screen. In the mean time, you can edit config.xml and set:
<ChannelHeaderStyle>Number - Name</ChannelHeaderStyle>

You'll currently have:
<ChannelHeaderStyle>Name</ChannelHeaderStyle>

What is your AAC decoder?

Thanks for the channel numbers fix.

Decoder is Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder. Mostly trying with this http://i.mjh.nz/nz/tv.9.m3u8 which sounds fine in 8866 as mentioned and fine in vlc

I'm seeing this too. I'll look into it.

Just to mention, that audio thing is still there after the 29th June update.

Also, probably shouldn't combine things, but might you be interested in post #53 over in this Emby thread https://emby.media/community/index.php?/...ntry759890

I think I know what the IPTV problem is, but to confirm - is it mainly TVNZ1 and TVNZ2 (and probably Duke)? ie, Three and Bravo don't show the problem?

It looks like TVNZ have something weird going on with their encoding, that causes screwy timestamps. You notice it when it between segments every 10 seconds. It's fine when you view via NextPVR's web app because this remuxes the stream (correcting the timestamps as it's delivered to the browser). You can see it in anything trying to play the native stream though.

This didn't used to be a problem with TVNZ, but they must have changed something about their setup. The same thing is happening in NextPVR v4.

I've got a fix in mind, but it's going to need a little time to implement it.

I'll check. I do seem to test mostly with TVNZ 1 and 2 (and the +1's).
