Hi Folks,

As someone who's keen to get functionality working on an iPhone and Android TV (beyond kodi), do you know when the apps will be updated to support NextPVR v5?

Cheers,
Josh.

They should continue to work fine. I have used the Android version with the same functionality as with v4.

In IOS 13, I was not getting the screen that allowed me to add/delete servers. To try V5, I had to stop the V4 service. Then it could not find a server on the LAN, and I was able to enter the V5 server info. That, of course, is the same IP but a different port.
UPDATE: Once I did this, now I AM getting the sever screen. Before, it would just take me straight into channels. Not sure what was going on, but something was a bit flaky.

That's intentional. For users with only one server detect, it just auto connects to the last server selected. ie, no point in showing them a server select screen for one server.

I wanted to have both the V4 and V5 servers (services) available.

On the one machine? You can probably do it, but you just need to stop NextPVR temporarily, so that it stays at the 'add server' screen, and then you use the button to manually add both servers. You can then restart NextPVR and you should be good to go.
