Recently, NextPVR has lost some, but not all, of my recurring program requests. I can set a "Quick Record" or "Record" - "Record Once" for those that have been lost but not "Record" - "Record Season".

Testing other programs shows a mixed bag, most will "Record Season" though not all.

I uninstalled NextPVR and installed the current version after a re-boot but there is no difference in behaviour.

I'm running Windows 10 version 1903

NextPVR will try to avoid duplicates if you already have a show in your database. Uninstalling doesn't get read of the database.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, my problem is nothing to do with duplicates. It will only accept a recording type of Once — it will not accept any form of season recordings — for those programs that it was recording perfectly happily (duplicates and all) until fairly recently.

Create a season recording and then ... NextPVR Settings --> Channels --> Update EPG ... this will force NextPVR to reschedule all recordings ... and then ... NextPVR Settings --> About and press the button to zip the logs and then attach the logs to a post telling us the name of the show that you scheduled as a recording. Thanks.

Thank you for your help. I was trying to attach "Beyond Our Ken" as a recurring recording, recording all episodes including repeats.

I have followed your instructions as best as I could, several times in fact :-), but managed to confuse myself utterly as to what I have done. However, the bottom line is that Update EPG appears to have fixed the problem. I will know for sure in just over a week when I return from holiday.

Many, many thanks,

You do have a bad record in your database

2019-08-30 19:41:38.539 [DEBUG][31] Deleting RecurringRecording oid:195
2019-08-30 19:41:38.555 [ERROR][31] Unexpected error deleting RecurringRecording: System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException (0x80004005): SQL logic error or missing database

That might be interfering in some way with scheduled recordings.

Martin,
Thanks for that. I've very little experience with log files but I'll take a proper look at them next week.

If you want to supply your npvr.db3, I'll check what's happening.

Thank you for your offer.

I've attached the WinRAR file npvr.rar because the .zip file was rejected as being too big.

This has, sort of, fixed my problem. Although "Beyond Our Ken" has been set to record All Episodes, it will only record the first occurrence, at 0830 and ignores the 1230 and 1930 transmissions. I don't normally have my computer switched on at that time so this is rather inconvenient. Prior to my recent troubles, it would record all three broadcasts (so long as the computer was switched on!) and this is the behaviour I would like to duplicate.
