My port will not forward. I have gone in my router and disabled windows firewall. What could I be doing wrong?

I get this error now: (IP) took too long to respond.

It's not clear what you mean. Is it working on your local network?

You only need to do port forwarding if you're trying to use it over the internet. Personally I'd only recommend it for use on a local network (unless you're an expert and know what you're doing).

Main reason im using it is for my mom to able to stream at her work. ESPN app/uverse app dont work on my provider anymore. She doesnt mind lower quality. Can you look at my settings real quick by chance? The app works over LAN.

On the Settings->Clients screen, do you have 'Allow Remote Access' ticked.

I do. 8866 is blocked, but I enabled it on my router and disabled windows firewall

Sorry, I don't know. Sounds like you've got something set wrong with your port forwarding.

I appreciate your help yesterday, if you can take a quick look I am still online. I have done this before to enable ftps etc I am not sure why it is blocking it.

I will report it temporarily worked. however, the port is non-functioning yet again.
