External Access Broken

I've been using NPVR for about a year now and it has been humming along great.  I have a windows 10 machine running 24x7 hosting NPVR (among other things) and I connect to NPVR via the iOS app, Kodi Plugin, and also the web server (http://my.ip.address:8866/modern/guide.html)  Within the last 2 weeks or so, all external access (inside and outside the network) stopped working.  Fortunately, recordings are still happening, but I can't access NPVR from iOS, Kodi, or Web.  I can only access NPVR from the windows machine hosting the service.  (I use TeamViewer to remote into the machine, open NextPVR and interact with the service there.)   I recently upgraded to 4.2.5 as an attempt to fix but it wasn't successful.  I've temporarily turned off the firewall to see if windows was blocking the port but that didn't work either.  Additionally, I've tried http://localhost:8866/modern/guide.html on the hosting machine and it did not resolve.  I've searched through the forums without any luck.  I appreciate any help you provide.  Thanks!  I've attached my logs.

Did you turn on disk compression by any chance?

Brilliant! I never would have thought of that on my own. I was cleaning out my c: drive using disk cleanup and it said I'd save about 5gb if I compressed the c: drive so I did. Little did I know that would have caused this issue. I disabled compression using the steps for option one on this website: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/9778...ndows.html. At first it didn't fix my issue, but I noticed the disclaimer that said the files would still be compressed, but writes would no longer be compressed to the drive. So, I reinstalled NPVR (thus writing over existing compressed files with new uncompressed files) and then it all started working. Thanks Martin and Sub!

No brilliance required just a good memory. Now that we are at $20 per TB compression with performance degradation doesn't make sense anyway.

Funny. I too compressed my C drive last week, and my npvr server would not boot (win7). Had to decompress on another computer but no other issues.
