v5.01 Install

I tried several times to get this new v5.01 installed on my debian pc but without success. First I failed to read the warning about attempting to update with 1.0 helper . So I ended up purging all the old stuff, downloading the new helper, and reinstalling. When I finished the install and checked the status of nextpvr I got this...

There was a warning in red when the install started but it went by too fast and I don't have enough lines to scroll up to see what it was. I noticed there was no dotnet folder created. The web page won't display remotely or by localhost on the target pc. Also no user data was created just the folder in /var/opt/nextpvr

Not sure were to go from here.

What do you see in /opt/dotnet/shared? It seems dotnet is failing to install. What version of Linux ?

Wait a second you say you didn't read the announcement and used the wrong installer first try

sudo rm /tmp/dotnet-install.sh

and try again

I think that did it. It's running now and have the web page displayed.
