Recording suddenly not shown in web interface

Hi,

Not sure what happened, however, I started a recording from within Kodi and it finished successfully according to the Kodi message after the program was finished. When I wanted to see the recording, the list of recording inside Kodi was empty. I thought it might be related to Kodi, however, looking into the recordings list inside the web interface also showed no recordings. Checking the recording folder I did see the recording correctly saved with XML file.

I had the fore last version so decided to update to latest NextPVR, but neither this solved the issue. No configuration changes where made since the last time I did a recording successfully 2 weeks ago.

Any idea what the issue is and how to solve it?

Normally you are supposed to provide Kodi debug logs and NextPVR logs to get the requested assistance but let's start with this.

Can you you provide a capture of the output from

http://ip:port/service?method=recording.list&filter=all

From either your v4 or v5 server.

If you created v5 with an import of your v4 recordings could you provide the recording-backup.xml file too please.

Hi Martin, Thanks for responding. Sorry I did not add the Kodi log, as in my humble opinion it was not related to it as the web interface gave the same problem.

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

Not much I guess.

I installed v5 from scratch so no additional XML file for you.
Any other ideas?
I will also try recording again to see if it was a one off issue. Will do this from Kodi but also from server itself.

No recordings are being reported found on the server. Logs for the server are still required.

Hi Martin,
I did some tests and it looks to be working again. Must have been a ghost in the system.

When it happens again, I will post the log.

Ok it is possible your files are on a share or USB drive that is not always connected. Unlike the NextPVR client, API clients like the browser and Kodi are only give recordings that are physically available to the server when the request is made.
