I would like to move my recorded shows from one box (Windows) to another (Libreelec 9.2). I can copy the files over with no problem but how do I get the Libreelec system to see them?

If you want the to show up in recordings you need to update the filename in the database to match (with exact case as required by linux) some people do it by exporting and importing recordings I have posted a sqlite script that can modify the entries if they are in the database and I think another that copies from one npvr.db3 to another.

So go to the database to the table "recordings" and export that table and import the table in the new database. And all the copied over files will be seen in recordings? Will this screw up the recordings I currently have in the new one?

It shouldn't but backup first and try. Or course you need to modify filename in the xml file before you import.

I'll blame this question on the lack of a wiki, but remember the forum post should be after searching the software, the forum, the wiki and google.
On the Settings->General tab there are import and export buttons. The export program creates an xml file and you need to edit the name to match what LE will see. My sqlite script is somewhere on the forum I don't know myself without searching.
