No Audio on DVDs

Love the new release - thanks a ton! This is really looking sharp!

I've had a problem for a while playing commercially produced DVDs. The picture is fine, but I have no audio. I've tried multiple audio decoders, but still have the problem. For DVDs which I've authored and burned from MPG4 files, audio works well... :confused:

Any config suggestions? Do I need new CODECs, if so any suggestions? Thanks!

You need something to remove the protections. I know there was a post here about that. Think one program was dvdidle

Thanks for your help on this. Turns out it was a missing AC3 decoder. I added one from GNU site, and things work great!
