EPG description offset with knewc

This one has me scratching my head.  On my NextPVR server, in Videos, the EPG show description in the right panel matches the recording selected on the left.

If I go to the same show folder in Videos on my ODroid N2 via knewc, the EPG show description in the right panel is for the recording above the selected recording on the left.


Any thoughts to what's going on here?

The rendering in UI client (and on the NMT and MVP) is always a bit delayed. I don't use the Video Library much anymore but it is possible that it could be missing something on the server. If you pause does it catch up? If not does moving the cursor right or left cause it to redraw?

So it doesn't matter how long I leave it sit after scrolling with the remote up/down arrow buttons, it doesn't update. However, pressing the right arrow button does cause it to update to the correct EPG info. However after the next up/down arrow it's offset again until I press the right arrow button. And I guess I was wrong, it's not always showing the EPG info of the recording above the one selected, it's the previous recording selected.

Interesting. I just tested this on my linux laptop running older Kodi (17.5 I think?) and XNEWA and it's way slower than the ODroid running 18.5 and knewc.

Sub would need to fix that and I don't see him doing that in v4, but you can upload the NextPVR logs if you'd like.

The ODroid is a powerhouse and it going to be better then most $1000+ HTPC's as a client.

My NPVR log is full of [DEBUG] messages (like 10-20 per second), but I'll see if I can grab logs quick after reproducing the issue on my ODroid.

I knew the ODroid was a rocket, but didn't think it could out-perform my work laptop ($3k with Xeon CPU).  Although I guess I do have a lot of apps open and a couple of VM's running.  :-)

For v4 it will be the webclient log that has the rendering information.
