Is this were we report bugs? I set pre and post padding to 0 but everything still has one minute padding on each end.

Yep, this is where you report bugs.

I just gave it a quick try now, and it seems to do the correct thing with the padding. I can see they're set to zero.

How did you schedule the recording? ie, was this in the web app, in the Guide page, clicking a show, selecting 'advanced', then setting the padding to zero, then clicking save? or something else? (like a different way in the web app, or using another client like kodi etc)

Also this setting will only be for new recordings. You would need to modify any recurring rules you have.

Martin.

From the guide page I clicked the show, then Advanced, then Record Season, and accepted the other defaults (including padding). But I may have done this prior to changing the global padding to zero. As per Martin's reply, I repeated the above steps on a new program and the padding recorded according to the global setting. I had assumed that recordings would use whatever the global setting contained unless they were overridden by changing them from the defaults in the recording dialog.

Yeah, it doesn't work like that. The defaults are only applied at the time you schedule the recording.
