Pretty sure that is the case?
It wouldn't have moved those. It only looks for files with the same name and different extension. ie, the same as NextPVR v4.

ie if the recording was named "Flight Of The Conchords Live In London_20200105_22002330.ts" it looks for:

Flight Of The Conchords Live In London_20200105_22002330.nfo
Flight Of The Conchords Live In London_20200105_22002330.jpg
etc...

ie, same name, but with other extensions.

Ah. I see. OK, ta. So the v5 Metadata utility in Video (and the upcoming one for Recordings :-)) will make ones with those full show names, for the extensions
shown? Maybe it was one of the ones batch processed from ImageGrabLite in v4...

I don't think it still creates these files. They were the really old way NextPVR used to do stuff, and it's largely replaced a few years ago new metadata/artwork stored in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\media\shows

Admittedly, I haven't used the 'metadata' function in the video library in a very long time, so I'm not 100% sure. My main focus is on recordings etc these days, rather than video from elsewhere.

Ah... OK. Actually it was because the Recordings menu does not have metadata, all my folders in the Videos are Recordings and I have manually gone through doing metadata downloads. If that is making movie.nfo and folder.jpg then it might explain it a bit?

I think I can see the old bit of code that created these. I've removed that code now, so the metadata function wont create these files in future.

Cool. But it will still make show images, thumbs and download info right?
