I'm starting to get
Scheduling Error

Unable to schedule recording at this time.

When I try and schedule some programs.

I'm running Version: 5.1.2.210603
of a Windows 7 64bit machine

This time when I try and schedule  Restaurant: Impossible on channel 58 the error pops up.
Even if I try and do a manual recording on that channel at that time I get the error pops up.

Any Help?

Yes Live TV works on that channel, I can schedule any other show on that
channel as well. I can schedule the show next week and the week after but not that show.
I also airs on another channel (162), can't schedules it there either.

Ok it seems NextPVR isn't handling an error well and telling you about but you have 3 shows scheduled for that time already

so you can't record Homestead Rescue at 7pm on a 3 tuner Cable Card device.

Sorry I got the wrong conflict

Are those two episodes of Breaking Bobby Bones on the same channel?

I have 2 devices so I have 6 tuners to record with, not 3.
Strange it will schedule the same show, on the same channel, at the same time?

I went thru and deleted all things related to Restaurant: Impossible
and then went back and try to schedule Restaurant: Impossible again.
I got the error when I tried to do it on todays shows both channels.
No recording scheduled, but I went to next weeks show and did the
scheduling from there and all worked like normal. Except today show
will not schedule??

And why/how did it schedule the same show at same date/time, 3 times?

If you have 6 tuners then maybe the error in the logs is more than a conflict issue, sub will need to check.

When you installed the second device do you remember if you did a rescan or did yor copy the original device?

One thing to note a recurring recording will not schedule a show that is in-progress.

Looking at the code, I think it's because you've got recordings schdeduled against a tuner that no longer exists (you've scheduled a recording and later deleted the channel, and the scheduled recording is still there). It's encountering an error when loading the channel trying to lookup the tuning details.

I've modified the code to handle it gracefully in the next build.

Delete the recordings, and try again.

Yes that did the trick. Is there any simple way to find any additional scheduled shows that has
a deleted channel?

I've added some logic for the next build to automatically delete recurring recordings tied to a channel you're deleting. (since they're definitely going to fail from that point on)
