set mac address in nextpvr addon

If I want to change the target nextpvr SERVER hardware, I need to change the corresponding mac address of the new server to allow the wol feature to work correctly on the client.  On a PC client running kodi, I simply edit he settings.xml file in kodi's pvr.nextpvr folder of the client with the mac address of the new server. 

But when using kodi on a FTV 4K client, I am not sure how to go about setting/resetting the mac address (it is grayed out) when I want to target a different server platform.  Any suggestions on how to do this?   

Right now, I can set the IP address of the new server in the kodi client, but the mac address of the previous server is still showing (grayed) in the advanced settings page.  How do I get the the client to recognize the correct mac address?

getting back to my original question --- so what you are saying is that, the only way I can find out how to change the server mac address on a firestick client on this forum, is, if I first upload log files?

Ok I'm fine with that too. What I am saying is that I don't want to go through a question and answer type of support when all my answers are in the log. Support and development takes time so why people can't be bothered to help escapes me.

To answer your question in your PM there is an issue with WOL that I am investigating but I need to look at your logs to confirm. There is no solution but if I am going in the right direction I will see if I can compile something that all Leia users can use.

If you had stated this in the beginning, I would have helped immediately.  I can't right now, but tomorrow I will have time and will try to provide what you want.  I am in the middle of setting up a new server based upon V5 and this issue is one of the last items I need to solve before I bring it online.  This sounds like an arp issue to me.
