Memory Leak in v4

I got this error after 6hrs on my Win7 machine with 8GB memory:

 "The tuner that you were using was required for a recording."

I started TaskManager and noticed that NPVR was using about
890MB/hr.

I've used Happauge WinTV for a longer recorder time with no problem.

Using memory could just related to garbage collection no being finished. I've seen much more used with large lists. Regardless you are using v4 so it is something that won't change.

This is just saying you're watching live tv, but it needs to use the tuner for a recording on another channel. This is not a sign of something going wrong.

Which process? nrecord.exe or nextpvr.exe? If the latter, the decoders can be very memory hungry. (and after you stop playback, the memory won't necessarily drop back down, but that same memory will be reused next time you start playback)

Was the memory continuing to increase, or seem to be fairly static at the high level you saw being used?
