Was able to do more testing and the Live TV will just show a black screen after some amount of time.  Tried bunch of different builds and they all seem to do same thing.  Had odd sound cracking noises on 18.7 and 18.8 so just included logs for latest matrix and an 18.5.  Think I did the debug log right but let me know if it isn't.

No those aren't Kodi debug logs. Basically I don't see anything wrong with the addon so you need to post the debug logs on the Kodi logs using paste.kodi.tv

Are you sure this isn't just a wifi issue?

It could be but since watching recordings is fine figured it wasn't that.  I'll try to get the debug log sorted.

Was finally able to do some testing on this without second hand information. I borrowed a newer ac mesh system vs the older n router that was used before. Set it up as an access point. Put a node in the same room as the firestick, it was connected using an ethernet cable. Simultaneously was using a tablet in the same room running the NextPVR android app watching live tv on a different computer setup. No issue with the live tv on the tablet using the NextPVR app. This is the best I can do trying to eliminate router/network performance as a cause.

Had debugging enabled, was showing the graphic in the top left corner. After watching live tv for a little over half an hour the screen goes black. A blue circle that says 100% shows for a second in the middle of the black screen. I then went back into add ons and uploaded the logs using the kodi log uploader.

You probably need to sideload 18.8 to make sure it isn't a problem that has been fixed I would also need to see the NextPVR logs to see if there was a backend reason for this error

2020-08-01 12:17:31.850 T:28903 DEBUG: CDVDVideoCodecAndroidMediaCodec::SignalEndOfStream: state: 3

If there isn't a backend reason you would need to post the logs for 18.8 on the Kodi forum for the Android devs. I see nothing in here that is related to the addon.

Here are the NextPVR logs.  If you don't see anything then I'll try 18.8 and head over to the kodi forums.  Thanks.

I see you only have one tuner mapped and are using port 8867. Are you certain that v4 isn't grabbing the tuner? It might be worth looking at the HDHR logs at 12:17 or so.

V4 is gone from all machines on the network. There are 2 separate machines running Nextpvr for different people. Also had v4 and v5 on one of them while testing v5 so needed to do the non standard ports

Basically I wanted you to check that any other setup isn't sharing that hdhr and causing the abrubt stop.

That particular tuner of the prime was only mapped to that machine. The other machine (the one that had v4 and v5) was mapped with the remaining prime tuners. So not possible anything else initiated the tuner on the machine with the kodi connection.
