NextPVR hangs when tuning to offline channel

This is the v5 counterpart of the v4 bug I reported yesterday at https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=61240 .

Here are logs.
The behavior is slightly different than in v4.
The first time I tuned to  an offline channel, NextPVR returned to the main menu after about 2 seconds. I then exited NextPVR.

When I restarted NextPVR and selected "Live TV", it tried to tune to that offline channel again, but this time led to a black screen and hang, with the same behavior and workaround as I reported in my v4 bug report.

Yes. However, the problem happens again as soon as I click "Live TV" again as NextPVR tries to tune the last channel. IMO, NextPVR should handle this more gracefully. I feel like I shouldn't have to add a mapping for CTRL-S on my IR remote to solve this.

When on the black screen, the workaround I described for v4 does not work in v5. This was to :
1. right click the black area
2. wait
3. click "Channels"
4. select a valid channel

At this point, NextPVR client is totally hung. The windows no longer repaint. Windows says "NextPVR is not responding". The only thing left to do is kill the process. So, in this way, the problem is worse than in v4.

The only real solution with v5 is to :
a) either CTRL-S, or kill the process
b) follow my steps 1 - 4 above

I can confirm this happens for me too with off air or poor signal strength UK Freeview HD channels (I don't watch SD channels).

I speculate this is why sometimes a good channel does not record due to a prior recording of a poor strength channel crashing the service.

The same channels selected in WinTV 10 do not crash that app.

For now if I find a poor channel I delete it from my lineup, but it would nice if NextPVR could handle bad / off air channels as gracefully as WinTV 10.
