I get this the first time I launch a channel in the client either by clicking Live TV or selecting watch in the guide. I then repeat the operation and then the channel appears.
It does not seem to happen when viewing channels via localhost in the browser.
Maybe the timeout is set to a lower value in the client?

I'm not sure why that would be. You'll need to post logs showing the issue.

Sorry, but you could reproduce the issue again, and repost your logs, and let me know what time the issue happened? I'm struggling to see where the problem happened in your existing logs.

It is in NPVR.log and it relates to the POST taking so long to return

Looking at the matching device log, it looks like the device was very slow to start and very slow to tune. I'm not really sure why that would be.
